Curaatlas is an information portal. The quality of the site depends on the quality of the sources behind its explanations, the caution used when interpreting them, and the honesty with which limitations are presented.
This page explains how Curaatlas thinks about sources and references for content about plastic surgery, aesthetic care, safety, prices, travel and recovery in Tunisia.
Sources and references — source standard
Curaatlas prioritizes official public-health bodies, regulators, recognized professional or medical organizations, official travel authorities and appropriately selected peer-reviewed evidence. Sources are chosen for the claim they support, not simply because they rank well in search results.
Commercial clinic or provider pages may be used to document a publicly advertised price, inclusion or service at a particular time. They are not treated as neutral authority for clinical safety, medical effectiveness or the suitability of an intervention.
Where a page includes medical, safety, recovery, anesthesia, travel-fitness or complication information, its reference section should identify the relevant source, publisher, link, source type and the date checked. A source list does not replace professional assessment and does not mean that the source organization endorses Curaatlas.
Price ranges on Curaatlas are public market references, not personal quotations. The pricing system should retain the source set, geography, observation date, inclusion assumptions and explanation of what can change the price. A provider’s advertised figure must not be presented as a guaranteed final cost.
Sources currently being organized
Curaatlas is still in a pre-launch phase. Some pages may include editorial placeholders while source review and final content integration continue. Before the public launch, source-sensitive pages should be checked against the site’s source list and updated where needed.
Complete publisher/legal details should also be finalized before the site becomes public and indexable.
How to report a source issue
Readers may contact Curaatlas if they notice a statement that seems outdated, a claim that needs better qualification, a broken or missing reference, a translation issue, or a page that should be clearer about its limits.
Correction requests are reviewed editorially. Curaatlas cannot provide individual medical advice through this process.
